Chinwendu Ihezuo nets third goal as Tigres hold Monterrey

Nigeria forward, Chinwendu Ihezuo was on target for Mexican Liga MX Femenil side, Monterrey as Tigres forced her team to a 1-1 during a Clausura encounter on Sunday.
Monterrey had won its first nine games of the campaign before a 2-2 draw with Guadalajara Chivas.
Tigres is having a lackluster season with three losses in its last five games heading to Sunday’s league clash with Monterrey.
Ihezuo gave Monterrey the lead in the 39th minute as her side attempted to return to winning ways.
Tigres was not ready for that as Maricarmen Reyes equalised three minutes into the second half.
The goal scored by Ihezuo was her third for Monterrey after seven league games.
She played for 86 minutes before coming off for Mexican midfielder, Aylin Avilez.
Monterrey despite back-to-back draws maintained top spot in the league with 29 points ahead of Club America with 26 points after 11 games.
UNAM Pumas will host Monterrey at the Estadio Olimpico Universitario, Mexico City, on April 1.
