Chioma Wogu’s goal salvages point for Yanga Princess over Simba Queens

Nigeria player, Chioma Wogu’s second half effort rescued her Tanzanian side, Yanga Princess from defeat against holders, Simba Queens as her side forced Simba Queens to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.
Jentrix Shikangwa had given Simba Queens the lead at the half-hour mark to give the visitors a halftime lead.
Wogu’s equalizer for Yanga Princess in the 77th minute helped her team avoid defeat.
The game saw five Nigerian players in action for both sides, with Blessing Nkor, Mary Saiki, and Previous Christopher starting the match for Yanga Princess.
Wogu came off the bench to score the equaliser for Yanga Princess, while Barakat Olaiya also started the game from the bench for Simba Queens.
Yanga Princess occupy the fourth position on the log with 22 points while Simba Queens is in third position with 27 points behind Fountain Girls (29 points), and JKT (28 points).
