Colombia 2024: Adoo Yina dedicates Best Player award to Nigerians and Falconets

Nigerian midfielder Adoo Yina has dedicated her Best Player award from their victory over Korea Republic to her U20 women’s national teammates.
The Nigeria U20 team edged out their Korean counterparts with a narrow 1-0 win in their opening match of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup early on Monday in Bogota.
A late goal from Sebastine Flourish secured the win for the team, led by coach Christopher Danjuma. Yina was instrumental in the midfield, delivering an outstanding performance that earned her the accolade.
In a heartfelt message, Yina expressed her gratitude towards her teammates and the support they provided throughout the match.
“Jude 1:24 -25. All glory, and honor, and praise belongs to you Father, the KING of kings and LORD of lords!” she posted on X.
“Nigerians, this is for you, my teammates, this is you,” she added, highlighting her appreciation for the collective effort of her team.
Nigeria will face Germany in their next match at the tournament, aiming to build on their strong start and continue their pursuit of success.
