Morocco 2025: Seven players arrive Nigeria as camp open for Benin Republic, Rwanda clash

The camp of Nigeria’s Super Eagles was opened on Monday with seven players arrived camp for the 2025 African Cup of Nations, AFCON qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda. 

Captain William Troost-Ekong, Ademola Lookman, Taiwo Awoniyi and Ola Aina are among the early birds in camp.

The other players, who arrived camp on Monday morning are Olisa Ndah, Semi Ajayi and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.

More players are still being expected in camp before the end of Monday while others will be joining subsequently. 

Caretaker Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Augustine Eguavoen had earlier summoned 23 players for both games and will be assisted by four other coaches. 

Nigeria will host Benin Republic in Uyo on Saturday before travelling to Kigali next week Tuesday.
