Danjuma Lawali, former captain of Nigeria’s U17 national team, has officially signed a four-year contract with Czech Super Liga side MFK Karvina.

The announcement was made by his Nigerian-based club, Mahanaim FC, earlier this week.

At just 18 years old, Lawali has already made a significant impact in youth football.

He shone brightly during the 2022 WAFU U17 Championship, where he was named in the team of the tournament and played a key role in securing the title for Nigeria.

His leadership continued at the CAF U17 AFCON, where he captained the Golden Eaglets and was again recognized in the team of the tournament.
