Dino SC, Imperial FC begin new TCC League season with Ogun derby 

Fans of Dino SC and Imperial FC will not have to wait much longer to see both sides tango in the new Creative Championship League season.

In the latest fixtures released on Friday, Dino Sporting Club and Imperial who are based in Ogun State will start the season with what is called ‘Ogun Derby on Thursday at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode.

Both sides finished second and third respectively last season behind Beyond Limits who retained the trophy after a closed contest campaign.

Dino SC who won the TCC Cup title beating Beyond Limit in the final will hope to go a step further this time to lift the coveted league title.

Coach Godwin Gibson has expressed confidence that his side has what it takes to wrestle the title from Beyond Limits this time and are aiming to prove that with the clash against their city rivals, Imperial FC.

“We’ve gone through rebuilding process and I think we are ready for this season, we will targeting the league title this time and I’m confident in our boys to make that happen.

“Its good uh derby comes so soon, we will be using that to show how ready we are to achieve our target this season and I want to assure our fans we will not let them down,” he said.

The other opening day fixtures will see Broad City hosting Valiant FC, Gbagada will be taking on Dannaz FC and Sporting Lagos will entertaining Atlantic Business FC, all in Lagos with defending champions Beyond Limits taking Iganmu FC in Ikenne.
