Edna Imade scores as Granada trash Deportivo La Corona

Nigeria-eligible Edna Imade continued her goal-scoring form for Spanish women’s top-flight side, Granada, as she added to her tally this season during a 5-0 thrashing of Deportivo La Corona in a league clash on Saturday.
Laura Perez converted the opening goal of the game with a header in the 16th minute at the Ciudad Deportiva del Granada.
Ten minutes later, Isabel Alvarez doubled the advantage for the host from a goal-mouth scramble as the visitors failed to clear a corner kick.
Cristina Postigo scored the third with a shot inside the box in the 49th minute after he travelers several attempts to reduce the deficit.
Ornella Vignola made it 4-0 for Granada in the 51st minute of play.
On the hour mark, Imade received a pass from Perez and raced inside the box before unleashing a right-footed strike into the net.
The goal increased her talk to eight after 12 league games this season.
With the victory, Granada moved to the eighth position on the league table with 16 points after 12 games.
They will next face Madrid CFF at home on December 14 in another league clash.
