Edna Imade scores crucial goal as Granada secure win over Deportivo

Nigeria-eligible forward Edna Imade scored the game-winner as Spanish Liga F side Granada edged Deportivo La Coruna in a league encounter on Saturday.
The travelers had to come from behind o secure victory after Brazil’s Millene’s opener in the 20th minute at the Estadio Municipal de Riazor.
Two superb strikes in the second half lifted Granada to victory.
First, it was Ornella Vignola who fired a shot at the edge of the box into the top corner for the leveler in the 72nd minute.
Three minutes later, Imade scored the winner with a right-footed strike inside the box into the top corner.
The goal increased her tally to 14 with an assist after 26 league games.
Granada occupy the fifth position on the Spanish Liga F log with 45 points after 27 matches.
They will meet Real Madrid in their next league game on May 4, 2025.
