Ekiti Queens to unveil jerseys ahead of NWFL Championship on Wednesday

The first lady of Ekiti State, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji will unleash the new jersey of the state women’s team, Ekiti Queens on Wednesday July 28 2023.

The unveiling event scheduled to take place at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti will happen along side an exhibition game between host and non-league side Salem Queens to entertain the guests present.

Ekiti Queens was established to encourage women or girls participation in sports in the state as they will be debuting in the NWFL Championship and the jersey launch continue to reflect the bid to make Ekiti Queens an enviable side.

Secretary to the club, James Ayodele, will lead other state important personalities like the Deputy Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Mrs Bolaji Egbeyemi, former Permanent Secretary Ministry of Youth & Sport, Mrs Tola Faseluka and Ekiti State Football Association Chairman, chief Olu Oloworemo.
