El-Kanemi Warriors have bolstered their squad ahead of the second half of the season, announcing the signing of four new players during the mid-season transfer window.
The new recruits include goalkeeper Jerry Isaac from Nasarawa United, defender Mohammed Banguora from Kanema Kambio FC in Sierra Leone, and strikers Lucky Vandi from Sunshine Stars Akure and Chris Conty from Wireless FC Abuja.
The club’s media officer, Gaga, expressed confidence in these signings’ impact on the team.
“These new signings are expected to provide more depth and competitiveness to the team. Their integration into the squad will be crucial as we look to climb the standings and achieve our goals for the season,” Gaga told club media.
In addition to the new arrivals, El-Kanemi Warriors will benefit from the return of several injured players. Captain Zayad Musa has resumed full training and is set to feature in the upcoming match against Nasarawa United on February 8.
Ismaila Bello, who completed a three-match suspension, has rejoined the squad, and both Bilal Yakubu and Ajiji Gimba have recovered from their injuries.
However, the team will still be without Usman Yobo, who remains sidelined due to injury.
Despite this setback, the reinforcements and returning players are expected to provide El-Kanemi Warriors with a much-needed boost as they continue their push for success this season.
