Emeka Amadi focuses on next challenge after Zanaco’s coaching exit

Emeka Amadi has spoken up for the first time since his unfortunate exit from Zambian giants Zanaco FC.
Emmanuel Amunike and Amadi were relieved of their duties by Zanaco and the latter admits they have moved on.
In April, Zanaco announced the termination of Amunike and assistant coach Amadi with immediate effect, with the Zambian side naming former national team coach, Wedson Nyirenda as a replacement till the end of the season.
Amadi was the former national team goalkeeper for Nigeria where in Saudi 1989, he was one of the goalkeepers of the U-20 team and became the first choice after an injury to Angors Ikeji.
“We won a game in the second round and then drew many games with some losses. There was a period they were cutting players’ money,” Amadi told Brila FM.
“In football, if you cut somebody’s money without informing him, they are demoralized. It’s okay we are home now and will forge ahead.
“We have learned from the experience and I don’t think we have any malice against anybody. We departed peacefully and are still friends which is part of the game.”
