England and Arsenal striker Bukayo Saka visits ancestral home in Nigeria

Bukayo Saka has paid a courtesy visit to his grandparents in Oro Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The Gunner arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Wednesday, May 31, following the end of the 2022/23 football season.
Saka was born on September 5, 2001, in Ealing, London, United Kingdom to Nigerian parents Adenike and Yomi Sakaand
He had the chance to play for the West African nation but ultimately chose to represent the Three Lions of England.
However, the British-born Nigerian continued to identify with his roots and give back to his ancestral community.
The 21-year-old was spotted with his grandparents in Kwara State.
“Bukayo Saka at ORO, Kwara State with grandparents. Proudly to be Kwara,” Abdul A Bello shared on his Twitter handle.
Ahead of the pre-season, Saka will look to wrap up his Nigeria visit in coming days before reuniting with Arsenal.
