Enyimba Football Club have announced that their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 26 fixture against Ikorodu City FC will be played behind closed doors.
The encounter is scheduled for Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba, with kickoff set for 4:00pm.
According to a statement from the club, the decision is in strict compliance with a directive from the NPFL and represents the second of three home matches Enyimba are required to play without spectators as part of ongoing sanctions.
The Aba-based club acknowledged the disappointment the development may cause supporters, describing fans’ presence and passionate backing as a major source of motivation for the team.
Enyimba’s management appealed for patience and understanding, stressing that the situation is beyond the club’s control and assuring supporters that efforts are ongoing to ensure full compliance with league directives and a swift return to normal matchday conditions.
The club also thanked fans for their continued loyalty, prayers, and support as the team pushes on in its quest for success.
Enyimba concluded the statement by reaffirming unity within the club, describing the People’s Elephant as “one family, one spirit, one mission.”
