EPL: Alex Iwobi demands consistency from Fulham after Newcastle win

Nigeria international Alex Iwobi has called for heightened performance levels from his Fulham teammates after their impressive 3-1 victory over Newcastle.
This win helped the team bounce back from their Carabao Cup third-round defeat.
Iwobi, who provided the assist for Fulham’s second goal, acknowledged the team’s recent improvements, emphasizing the significance of consistent results.
“Our performances have been very good – apart from Ipswich – but getting the results is the most important thing. It was a great performance and a great result,” he stated.
He encouraged his teammates to keep up their momentum, insistingthat consistency will lead to a stronger finish than last season.
“It sends a message to any other team that we can compete with anyone, and no one can come to our fortress and take any points from us,” he added.
Fulham will face Nottingham Forest in their next match on Saturday, September 28.
