Euro 2024: Super Falcons stars predict the winner between Spain and England

Players of the Nigeria women’s national team have dropped their respective predictions as we prepare for a mouthwatering clash between two powerhouses of football, Spain and England, in the final of the 2024 Euro Championship in Germany.
The Super Falcons are currently in Seville, Spain, preparing for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, but clearly have a keen eye for the big occasion.
With Deborah Abiodun as the anchor, as seen in the video shared on her Instagram, which has now gone viral, the Pittsburgh Panthers midfielder asked her teammates to predict the winner of the final.
The team shared their predictions for the titanic showdown in Germany, with a whopping seven of the Nigerian stars backing Spain to lift the crown, compared to just six for Gareth Southgate’s side.
Paris FC’s safe hands, Chiamaka Nnadozie, picked England to win, while Chidinma Okeke chose Spain to win.
Asisat Oshoala, who is a Barcelona legend, predicted that Bukayo Saka, who is of Nigerian descent, would score but her “second country,” Spain, would emerge as champions.
Gift Monday, Ifeoma Onumonu, Nicole Payne, and Jennifer Echegini also pitched their support towards Spain, while Toni Payne and Esther Okoronkwo chose England.
Meanwhile, the assistant coach of the team also chipped in his prediction, rooting for the Three Lions.
At the end of the clip, they all echoed, “It is coming home,” which will be heartbreaking for England faithfuls if Spain emerges victorious.
