Nigerian duo of Igoh Ogbu and Muhammed Tijani made significant impacts in Slavia Prague’s  2-0 UEFA Europa League win over Servette on Thursday.
It was a night to forget for the Swiss side as their first night in European tourney ended in defeat at home.
Slavia Prague looked a better side through the match with near perfect dominance with first half goal through Lukas Masopust.
Nigerian forward, Igoh Ogbu doubled the lead for the Czech giants with a minute to reach the hour mark as he reached to the end of a cross before heading it past the keeper.
It was the 23-year-old’s first goal of the season in the colors of Slavia Prague.
Ogbu’s team mate from Nigeria, Mohammed Tijani also helped the visitors to keep a clean sheet with his perfect performance in the midfield after coming in as a second half substitute.
This impressive victory marks a promising start to Slavia Prague’s Europa League campaign, and the Nigerian duo of Igoh Ogbu and Muhamed Tijani played a crucial part in this successful opening match. Their contributions will undoubtedly be instrumental as Slavia Prague continues its journey in the competition.
