EX COACH BLAME NFF FOR FALCONS STRIKE

Former girls’s nationwide workforce coach, Godwin Izilien, has blamed the Nigeria Soccer Federation for his or her incompetence within the wake of the Tremendous Falcons coaching boycott over unpaid allowances and bonuses in Rabat on Wednesday.
The nine-time winners had reportedly met the NFF demanding for his or her unpaid allowances Wednesday morning, after they misplaced 1-0 to Morocco within the semi-final of the WAFCON on Monday.
However after an unfruitful assembly, the reigning WAFCON champions boycotted coaching to protest their unpaid arrears.
By the way, Izilein was the workforce’s coach in 2004 when the Falcons first staged a three-day sit-in protest of their Johannesburg lodge, refusing to return to Nigeria, until their excellent bonuses have been paid, after they received the WAFCON.
Talking with The PUNCH on Thursday, Izilien mentioned, “The directors have to be advised that the event just isn’t meant for them. This act places pointless strain on the gamers and it should cease.
“They need to appoint those that know soccer, not simply anyone on a political foundation to generate income there. They care much less, and that’s why we’re the place we’re right now.”
