Nigeria U-20 women’s national team continue preparation for the maiden WAFU-B Women’s Cup with its second friendly match in Abuja on Wednesday.

FC Robo Queens Esther Onyenezide scored two goals off an assist from Taiwo Ajakaye to lead Christopher Danujuma’s side to a 2-0 first half lead against the Abuja based ladies.

In the second half, Delta Queens’ Taiwo Afolabi wrapped up the win for the two-time FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup beaten finalist.

It defeated Abuja U-15 boys 5-1 on Saturday to start preparation for the West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU-B) tournament.

Danjuma’s side will continue their build up with another tune-up game on Saturday as they gear up for the inaugural 2023 WAFU-B Women’s Cup in Ghana later this month.
