Falconets Arrive in Senegal Ahead of U20 World Cup Qualifier

Nigeria’s U20 women’s team, the Falconets, have arrived in Senegal ahead of their third-round, second-leg clash in the 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

The decisive encounter against Senegal is scheduled for Saturday, with the Falconets aiming to seal qualification after the first-leg result.

The team touched down in Senegal in high spirits as preparations intensify for the crucial tie, with the technical crew expected to finalise tactical and fitness work in the days leading up to the match.

Nigeria are seeking to maintain their strong pedigree in the competition and move a step closer to booking a place at the 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

Moses Aduku’s side won the first leg 1-0 in Abeokuta last Saturday hoping to seal qualification in Senegal.
