FC Robo win a good boost for Abia Angels, says Amarachi Ndudim

Victory over FC Robo is a massive boost for Abia Angels in the Nigeria Women Premier League, according to Amarachi Ndudim.

The star player got the assist as Nkechi Agams scored the winner in the 1-0 triumph over the Lagos based outfit.

“I feel very happy and pleased that I was able to create a chance for my team to win the match against FC Robo Queens. I am really happy and thank God for helping us win the game at home.” Ndudim told Kick442.com

“Winning the first match of the season is really important for the team.We are happy that we got our three points here. It’s quite encouraging and gives us the motive to keep pushing further.

“The result is a good boost for the team It’s always the dream of every player to win titles with their teams.”

She went a step further to outline her personal and team goal for the just commenced season.

“The way the club is right now, we can achieve more than we expect. We have the ability to face any team in the league at the moment,” she added.

“We are prepared and can achieve so many things in the league. Our main target is to get to the Super Six which is a dream for me to be there as well as for Abia Angels.

“It will be a record for me and for the team to make it to the Super Six. We just have to keep working hard to be able to qualify for the Super Six and possibly win the league. It’s an aim for me and my teammates and the team as a whole to win the league.”
