Technical Adviser of Enugu Rangers, Fidelis Ilechukwu has stated his frustration in the manner his side ended their 10-match unbeaten run in the Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The Flying Antelopes lost 4-3 to Katsina United in the Matchday 29 encounter on Sunday.
It was rain of goals in the encounter that saw Rangers coming back twice in the game but eventually lost to the game due to few details that was missing in the team.
The former Plateau United gaffer who identified three goals scored as positives promised to make amend in the team to avoid reoccurrence of conceding such number of goals.
“I think it was a great game today for both teams. Scoring three goals in an away game is not an easy one but conceding four goals is not acceptable in football,” Ilechukwu told Rangers’ media.
“I am so sad about that, but we can only move on as today’s game is gone. All we need to do is to psyche the boys up identify the challenging area and make the corrections going into our next game.”
With 51 points from 29 matches and a healthy goal differential, Rangers remain on top of the log and wil be hosting Abia Warriors in another Oriental derby in Enugu next Sunday.
