FIFA Club World Cup: Odion Ighalo set for injury return against Wydad Casablanca

Nigeria and Al Hilal striker, Odion Ighalo is expected to make a return from injury for his club side in their FIFA Club World Cup encounter on Friday.
Ighalo who recently return from Hamstring injury for his Saudi club is in line for a starting berth against African champions, Wydad Casablanca in the second round duel billed for Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium..
The former Manchester United striker has missed five of his team’s last outing due to injury he suffered against Al Ittihad early January.
The Asian champions are hoping to have a good outing against an experienced Wydad who are also playing as hosts in Morocco as they aim to secure a semi final place in the competition.
Ighalo had been in scintillating form for Al Hilal with a return of eight league goals in 12 matches pushing them to third on the Saudi Premier League log behind Al Shabbab and Al Nassr
The winner of the match between the Asian and African champions will qualify to the semi-final where they’ll face Brazilian giants Flamengo, winners of the 2022 Copa Libertadore.
