FIFA WWC: Super Falcons group foe, Ireland to play Zambia

Nigeria’s group stage opponents in the FIFA Women’s World Cup, Republic of Ireland will trade tackle with Zambia on June 22nd at the Tallaght Stadium, Dublin.
This will serve as a preparatory tie for two nations as they gear up for the global finals in Australia and New Zealand.
The 23rd FIFA world ranked Irish will be making their debut in the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time in their history just as Zambia, who will be making their maiden appearance at the global showpiece.
On their way to qualify for the Women’s World Cup, the Girls in Green played nine matches, won six, drew two and lost one. They scored 27 goals and conceded four.
The Super Falcons are draw against Republic of Ireland, Canada and hosts Australia in Group B. Randy Waldrum’s side have lost two games in the Revelation Cup, making it their seventh consecutive loss for the West Africans.
