Finidi George demands total focus from Enyimba players on remaining NPFL games

Head Coach of Enyimba FC, Finidi George has tasked his players to not to be distracted in their remaining Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL fixtures in the ongoing regular season.

The Peoples Elephant moved from fourth to second in the Group A log following their hard fought 2-1 win against Kwara United thanks to Samad Kadiri and Chijioke Mbaoma’s superb finishes in Akure on Sunday.

The win has put Finidi’s side in vantage position as one of the contenders for the season ending Super Six playoffs but the the former Nigeria star is urging his wards to remain focused and finish the regular season on a high.

“I told the players that this game and the next one are vital and we have won this one. So, we will not relent,” George told media.

Enyimba will be home to Remo Stars on Sunday for the Matchday 15 clash in Aba.
