Football expert warns Michy Batshuayi as Victor Osimhen shines for Galatasaray

By Monsurah Olatunji

Turkish football expert Serhat Ulueren has praised Victor Osimhen’s exceptional form at Galatasaray, while urging his striking rival Michy Batshuayi to step up his game or risk losing his place in the team.

Osimhen, 25, has been in scintillating form this season, scoring seven goals in nine Turkish Super Lig appearances and adding three more in four Europa League matches.

The Super Eagles forward continued his impressive run by scoring in Galatasaray’s dramatic 3-2 comeback victory over Sivasspor.

Osimhen won and converted a penalty after being fouled by the Sivasspor goalkeeper, following a brilliant assist from Yunus Akgün in first-half stoppage time.

Ulueren was full of admiration for Osimhen’s passion and work ethic, highlighting how the Nigerian international has shown a relentless desire to succeed.

“Victor Osimhen wants it so much, it seems he didn’t come here to sleep,” Ulueren said in an interview with habersarikirmizi.com.

The expert also turned his attention to Batshuayi, who has struggled to find his scoring touch.

“Michy Batshuayi should also throw away the positions he has entered. Otherwise, he will continue to be on the bench,” Ulueren warned, acknowledging that Batshuayi’s current form is not enough to secure a starting spot over Osimhen.

With the competition heating up between the two strikers, Batshuayi will need to improve his performances to earn a place in Galatasaray’s starting lineup as Osimhen continues to dominate in front of goal.
