Former goalkeeper Shaka Fislop to Victor Osimhen: “Don’t go to Chelsea”
By Monsurah Olatunji

Former West Ham goalkeeper, Shaka Hislop has advised Victor Osimhen to push for bigger moves instead of settling for Chelsea.
Osimhen has been linked with a move away from Napoli following some off-field issues combined with his contract running out in 2025.
The 24-year-old led Napoli to their first league title in 33 years, the first since Maradona still plied his trade in the Italian top=flight.
The Nigeria international has been receiving advice from former players, coaches, and pundits concerning his future.
However, many believe it is time for him to move to the most-watched league in the world, the Premier League. While his compatriot, Mikel Obi wants him to join Chelsea, Hislop believes he should not dare.
“If I’m Victor Osimhen and the exit door is open in January, right now, I’m not sure Chelsea is the club I want to go to,” he said on ESPN FC.
“If you start to look further afield we can talk Real Madrid as well as Barcelona, even though Lewandowski is there at the moment.
“I just think there are a number of suitors better positioned than Chelsea and Osimhen is a highly-sought after talent, so while Chelsea may have the money and may be willing to pay him more than most, I’m not sure that is a good fit right now for Victor Osimhen.”
