Former Nigeria goalkeeper Peter Rufai relishes Super Eagles coaching job

Nigeria legendary goalkeeper, Peter Rufai is eyeing a place in the technical crew of the men’s senior national team.
Rufai mopped up 65 appearances for the Super Eagles during his spell with before drawing the curtain on his international career with the country.
The former Super Eagles opened up on his desired role as he harps on goalkeeping technology for the national team, stressing that the country have the goalkeeping talents in abundance but lacks the right knowledge.
“I’m ready for them. To show them techniques of goalkeeping. I’m waiting to be one of the Super Eagles coaches sometime, someday,” Rufai told Complete Sports.
“We have to get it right. We have goalkeepers but something is missing. You can’t give what you don’t have. We have the talents. Goalkeeping goes beyond catching the ball.”
The Super Eagles have produced world class goalkeepers over the years, including Vincent Enyeama.
