Four Nigerian youngsters have been named in the Best XI of the group stage at the ongoing 2025 WAFU-B U-17 Tournament.

Hat-trick hero against Benin Republic, George Chimaobi Agah, led the Nigerian contingent after his standout display.

He was joined by Boluwatife Israel Thompson, who earned the Player of the Match award in the draw against Burkina Faso, as well as Edeh David and Menyagu.

Nigeria topped Group B with four points, following a 4-1 win over Benin Republic and a goalless draw against Burkina Faso.

The Golden Eaglets will now face rivals Ghana in the semi-final, with a place at the 2025 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on the line.

Other countries represented in the group stage Best XI include Côte d’Ivoire (3 players), Ghana (2), Burkina Faso (1), and Niger Republic (1).
