Funsho Bamgboye: Hungarian side FC Rapid signs Nigeria midfielder from Fehervar

Nigeria midfielder, Funsho Bamgboye has completed a move to FC Rapid from Hungarian first division side, MOL Fehervar.
Bamgboye will be contracted to FC Rapid till the summer of 2024 with an option for a further year.
The 24-year-old confessed to knowing a lot about FC Rapid and the conditions of the club which is great to him,

while expressing his excitement joining the club.
“I feel very good to be here and to be part of this club. I am very pleased with the choice made,” the 24-year-old told fcrapid.ro.
“Honestly, I knew quite a lot about Rapid, because the first time they told me about Rapid, I told them that I know the club, the conditions here. It was great.
“For me, to be here is incredible, to take part in something as big and important as the club’s Centenary, so I’m glad to be here now. I also saw the supporters. It was incredible to see that they are always there and support their team no matter what happens.”
FC Rapid gave a brief history of the player, which says that Bamgboye attended the Aspire academy in Senegal and won the FIFA U17 World Cup in 2015.
Bamgboye appeared 11 times in the Hungarian league this season and scores two goals before moving to FC Rapid.
