Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has refuted speculation regarding a potential move for Nigeria international right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Rumours had been swirling that Osayi-Samuel, who is in the final year of his contract with Fenerbahçe, could be heading to the Turkish giants.

However, Buruk made it clear that there has been no contact with the player or his representatives.

“So far, we have had no contact or talks with Bright Osayi-Samuel. We are not currently working on a transfer,” Buruk was quoted as saying by TV 100.

Osayi-Samuel, who made his name in English football with Queens Park Rangers, has established himself as one of the top right-backs in the Turkish Super Lig since moving to Fenerbahçe.

Fenerbahçe currently sits fourth in the Turkish Super Lig, with 16 points from seven matches, and will face Samsunspor on Sunday, October 20.
