German Bundesliga nominate Victor Boniface for Player of the Month

German Bundesliga have nominated Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface for the league’s Player of the Month for August following his superlative performance.

Boniface was in blistering form in August for his new side in the German topflight league. The Nigeria striker will face stiff competition from Bayern Munich brace of Harry Kane and Alphonse Davies, including Wolfsburg forward, Jonas Wind, Union Berlin’s Kevin Behrens and RB Leipzig defender Benjamin Henrichs for the award.

The striker grabbed two goals and an assist in two appearances for Bayer Leverkusen in August.

The 22 year old was also nominated in the Bundesliga Rookie of the month award for August alongside Nigeria goalkeeper, Noah Atubolu and Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig.

Boniface has been in brainstorming form this season by netting four goals and one assist in three matches in the Bundesliga for Leverkusen.
