Gift Monday inspires Costa Adeje Tenerife to victory over Madrid CFF

Nigeria international, Gift Monday scored a goal and also provided an assist during Costa Adeje Tenerife’s 2-0 win against Madrid CFF in the Spanish women’s top flight on Saturday.
Monday set up Maria Perez who opened scoring for the host at the Football Field Adeje.
11 minutes into the second half, Perez returned the favor by assisting Gift, who doubled the lead.
The goal was Gift’s eighth in the league this season as she saw 82 minutes of action.
Belgium’s Jassina Blom replaced the former FC Robo Queens captain.
She also increased her assists to three while her compatriot, Rinsola Babajide was not dressed for the game.
Costa Adeje Tenerife occupies the sixth position on the Spanish Liga F women’s log with 23 points from 16 games.
They will visit Sevilla FC in their next league encounter on February 2, 2024.
