Gift Orban’s goal drought extends to five for Gent in Oostende loss

Gift Orban search for goal continues as he failed to hit the back of the net in Gent 2-1 loss to Oostende in the Belgian league encounter.
The Nigerian forward scored last for Gent in their 5-0 crushing of RFC Seraing on April first.
Despite that, the 20-year-old was given the nod to start against Oestende, he was pocketed and couldn’t find the target before he was taken off in the 76th minute.
Orban hit top form for De Smurfen (The Smurfs) after his January transfer move as he has scored nine goals and registered two assists in ten games.
The young sensation has now gone five matches without scoring in all competitions this season.
The prolific forward’s nine goals for Gent makes him the club’s second top scorer in the Belgian Pro League.
With the defeat to Oestende, Gent will have to settle for a place in the Europa League playoffs as they lost out in the championship playoffs.
