Gift Otuwe opens account as Zorka BDU pummel Dyussh-Polesgu

Nigeria midfielder, Gift Otuwe scored her first goal of the league season for Belarusian Vysshaya Liga Women’s side, Zorka BDU thrashed Dyussh-Polesgu 13-0 on Tuesday.
Seven of the 13 goals came in the first half with Diana Shmarovskaya scoring the first goal in the second minute of action.
Volha Kapysha doubled the lead seven minutes later and made it three in the 12th minute.
Otuwe extended the lead in the 15th minute while Shmarovskaya’s second goal of the game took the goal margin to five.
Shmarovskaya completed her hat trick in the 22nd minute with the sixth goal of the encounter.
Daria Ivanchik wrapped up the first-half goals spree in the 26th minute.
After the interval, Yana Rai converted the eighth goal of the game in the 48th minute.
Kapysha made it nine from the penalty spot seven minutes later while Diana Tropnikova’s goal took the game to double figures.
Ksenia Salivonchik’s own goal coupled with two more goals from Tropnikova and Shmarovskaya’s fourth goal of the game sealed a 13-0 win.
38-yea-old former Neman midfielder, Otuwe saw 64 minutes of action and was replaced by Anastasia Lobashova.
Zorka BDU occupy the fifth position with nine points after six games.
The team will next face Dnepr Mogilev on May 6 at Stadion Spartak, Mogilev.
