Gov Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq sacks Kwara United management

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has relieved the Kumbi Titiloye led management of Kwara United.
The intriguing development was made known by the chairman of Kwara State Sport Commission, Coach Bola Mogaji, who said the Harmony Warriors board have been officially dissolved.
“The management of Kwara United have been officially dissolved. They brought a letter and we gave it to the Secretary,” Mogaji was quoted by the Informant 247.
Kwara United had a bitter run in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) last season as they escaped relegation by a whisker.
The club made use of the Akure Township Stadium as they makeshift home ground following the non approval of the Kwara state stadium which was under renovation.
The immediate past board headed by Titiloye failed to improve in their success of the 2022 NPL season where they finished in fourth position to steal a CAF Confederations Cup place.
The Harmony Warriors sealed their fate in the NPL last season when they defeated then fellow strugglers Nasarawa United.
