Gov Hope Uzodinma splashes N30m on six Super Falcons players

Governor of Imo State, Hope Odidika Uzodinma has splashed the sum of N30 million naira on six Nigeria players that played at the last Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
Uzodima made the pledge to the players when they paid him a visit at the state house in Owerri after the 2022 Wafcon where the Super Falcons finished in fourth position.
The sum of five million naira will be received by each to the six players as the governor fulfilled his promise he made in 2022.
Desire Okparanozie, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Vivian Ikechukwu, Tochukwu Oluehi, Ohale Osinachi and America born Michelle Alozie are the beneficiaries of the largesse from the Imo State government.
The governor confessed that he was impressed with the performance of the Falcons as he urged them not to relent and be focus on the challenges ahead when in the national team colors.
Uzodima backed the Super Falcons to succeed at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
