Hakeem Busari named Bayelsa Queens Head Coach for CAF Women’s Champions League

Bayelsa Queens have confirmed Hakeem Ishola Busari as head coach of the Prosperity Girls ahead of their campaign in the 2025 WAFU-B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers in Côte d’Ivoire.
Busari, a former Gateway United FC gaffer, will lead the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership champions as they bid to secure a ticket to the CAF Women’s Champions League.
According to the list of accredited officials for the tournament, Thelma Numaye Famous Flint-Agara will serve as Team Director, while Frank Kuro has been named Goalkeepers Coach.
League-winning coach Whyte Badumerum Ogbonda takes on the role of Equipment Manager.

The Prosperity Girls began their continental quest with a 2-1 victory over Police Ladies of Ghana on Sunday and will face ASKO of Togo in their next group match.
