Halimatu Ayinde gets heroic welcome at Rosengard after fine Women’s World Cup outing

Nigeria midfielder, Halimatu Ayinde was treated to a heroic welcome by her club, FC Rosengård.
The workaholic midfielder was part of the Super Falcons squad that reached the round of 16 of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The holding midfielder had a terrific impact on Nigeria’s run to the knockout stage with her marking and interception skills.
Ayinde, who’s just returning to club duties after the World Cup, was blown away by the reception bestowed on her after the World Cup by her club teammates, which she cherished.
“I’m humbled by the warm reception and honour given me by players and officials of Rosengard, following my participation at the recently concluded FIFA WWC in Australia and New Zealand. This means a lot to me. Thanks, FC Rosengard,” Ayinde was quoted by BSN Sports.
With 36 points from 20 games, Rosengård occupy the seventh position on the Sweden League.
