‘He is extraordinary’ – Former Napoli star Ruben Maldonado praises Victor Osimhen

Former Napoli defender Ruben Maldonado has joined the list of experts to shower praise on impressive goalscoring machine Victor Osimhen for his exploits with Napoli this season.

The 24-year-old has scored 25 goals and registered four assists in 29 games across all competitions for the Partenopei this season and currently tops the Serie A scorer chart.

The Italian giants are on course to winning the Scudetto for his team, their first in 33 years and also have a chance to reach the final of the Champions League for the first time in their history.

The Nigeria striker has reincarnated into the striker Aurelio De Laurentiis when he paid Lille €72million for his signature in 2020 and the Ex-Napoli defender believes he is a crucial part of the setup at Naples.

“Osimhen is an extraordinary and fundamental striker, one of a kind,” Maldonado told media.
