Heartland FC remain confident of turning their season around despite a slow start in the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign.

The Naze Millionaires have struggled in their opening eight matches, securing just one win, three draws, and suffering four losses, which has left them languishing in the red zone of the table. Their latest setback was a narrow 1-0 defeat to Bayelsa United on Sunday.

Despite the result, Heartland’s management and coaching staff have remained optimistic, drawing positives from the performance in Yenagoa.

The club took to social media to express their determination and pride, writing: “We lost narrowly to Bayelsa United, but we left Yenagoa with our pride intact.”

The team is focused on improving as the season progresses and remains hopeful of bouncing back in their next fixture.

Heartland will face Remo Stars in their upcoming match at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, where they will be eager to build on their resolve and aim for a positive result.

With several games still to play, Heartland FC are hopeful they can find their rhythm and make a strong push up the table in the coming weeks.
