Ibeh Ransome: Nigeria forward nets first Armenian topflight goal for Ararat Yerevan

Nigeria forward, Ibeh Ransome for Ararat Yerevan in their narrow 2-1 loss to Ararat-Armenia in Wednesday’s Armenian Premier League encounter.
Ransome scored put up a brave performance to hit his first goal in the Armenian league as the hosts Ararat-Armenia broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute through Armen Ambartsumyan.
Ransome restored parity for Ararat Yerevan before the half time break to level the score line at 1-1.
The introduction of another NigerianTaofiq Jibril for Ararat-Armenia did the damage for the host team as he notched in the winner in the 51st minute.
All efforts by the visiting team, Ararat Yerevan to comeback to level terms proved futile as the hosts held on to claim the victory.
Ararat Yerevan are placed seventh on the Armenian league log with 29 points in 30 matches played and they will face Shirak Gyumri at the 4,500 capacity Gyumri City Stadium on May eight.
