Spanish LaLiga strugglers, Malaga, have named Nigerian talents Brown Ideye and Isaac Success in their 18-man squad for the upcoming clash against the formidable FC Barcelona. The announcement, made by Malaga’s manager, Jose Gonzalez, signals a tactical move to harness the strengths of these Nigerian players in the challenging encounter.

Brown Ideye, who has featured in six league matches and found the net once for Malaga, brings valuable experience and goal-scoring prowess to the squad. Isaac Success, having played in two games, aims to make a significant impact, showcasing his skill set on the field.

In their recent away game against Leganes, Ideye was introduced in the second half, contributing to the team’s efforts despite a 2-0 defeat. Success, however, was not part of the squad for that particular fixture.

The team has encountered a challenging period, losing six consecutive league games since their 2-0 victory over Real Sociedad on December 10, 2017.

The inclusion of Ideye and Success in the squad signifies the management’s strategic approach to bolster the team’s performance and resilience against formidable opponents.
