Ighodaro Osaguona: Nigeria striker rescues Chippa United from Cape Town defeat

Nigeria forward Ighogharo Osaghona was instrumental for his South African club side, Chippa United as he scored a goal to rec them from home defeat against Cape Town City FC on Saturday.
Osaghona who named among the substitutes for the match was brought into action with five minutes to end first half at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in Mdantsane was one of the Matchday 16 fixtures of the Premier Soccer League.
The former Shooting Stars and Enugu Rangers did not waste time to make his presence felt as he scored with a deft finish with the last touch of the half.
His goal however canceled out an own goal scored earlier by Justice Chabalala following a pressure on Chippa defense from Cape Town boys.
Osaghona who joined Chippa from Pretoria United last season has now taken his season’s goal tally to five goals in 12 league appearances.
Chippa United now sit in 10th position on the PSL log with 20 points from 16 games and they will take on Royal AM next Saturday.
