Ikechukwu Uche reveals most cherished moments playing for Super Eagles

Former Nigeria International Ikechukwu Uche has described playing for Nigeria and winning the Africa Cup of Nations title as a dream come true for him.
The Abia state born player had a glittering career that spanned over 15 years and majority of those years were spent playing club football in Spain.
In an interview with La Liga TV, Uche admits it was a great dream that he was able to achieve in Nigeria colour.
“Playing for Nigeria is another great dream that I was able to achieve,” said the former Getafe, Granada star.
“It has always been my dream to play for Nigeria and I was very happy that I was able to achieve that and its not something that happened one time but I was able to play many games for Nigeria.
“I am very happy to have achieved that, coming out of Nigeria and moving to Spain to play in the league to gather experience is something I really cherished, then getting the invite to play for the Super Eagles is one of my greatest moments.
“I also represented Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations and I had the opportunity to be one of the people that will say we won the AFCON and honestly i cannot ask for more.”
Uche scored 19 goals in 46 appearances for the Super Eagles and he was famous for his acrobatic celebration of goals.
