Inter Milan scouts monitor Ebenezer Akinsanmiro during standout display in Pisa–Lazio draw

By Oluwadamilola Olaleye

An Inter Milan scout was in attendance during Pisa’s 1–1 draw with Lazio on Thursday evening to observe several players, including Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Mario Gila, and Adam Marušić.

Akinsanmiro, currently on loan at Pisa from Inter, delivered another strong performance in midfield, continuing a run of impressive form that has made him one of the Tuscan side’s standout players this season.

The 20-year-old Nigerian’s loan deal includes a €6 million option to buy, along with a counter-option clause that allows Inter to re-sign him if necessary.

Under head coach Alberto Gilardino, Akinsanmiro has developed into a key figure in Pisa’s midfield, earning praise for his technical quality, composure on the ball, and tireless work rate.

In addition to assessing Akinsanmiro’s progress, Inter’s scouting representative also monitored Gila, a Lazio defender the club has been tracking for several months, and Marušić, who could become available as a free agent next summer, according to FC Inter News.

Inter reportedly view Akinsanmiro as a player with long-term potential and could integrate him into the first-team setup next season if his strong performances continue through the remainder of the campaign.
