Israeli Pro League: Hapoel Jerusalem’s comeback win excites Nigeria keeper Adeleye

Super Eagles goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye expressed delight as he continued his impressive performance in the colour of the Israeli pro league side Hapoel Jerusalem FC after a fine outing against Hapoel Tel Aviv.

The Hapoel-based side surprisingly made it to European football last season with the help of Nigeria international who was outstanding between the sticke throughout his campaign of the season.

He was the cynosure of all eyes again on Sunday in a derby match and despite conceding first in the game, Adeleye was able to play an active role in the team’s 3-1 comeback win on Sunday.

He was excited after the match as the win put his team in the second position on the table.

“It takes courage and good character to bounce back after conceding the first goal,” he disclosed.

“I am really excited that we won 3-1 and move to second place in the league,” he said
