“It Is A Big Relief For Me” – Leon Balogun Says After Inking One-Year Contract With QPR | Abroad

Leon Balogun has joined Queens Park Rangers as a free agent, stories Sports247.

The Nigerian worldwide has penned a one-year cope with the English Championship membership following his departure from Glasgow Rangers on the finish of final season.

Balogun is conversant in QPR’s supervisor Michael Beale. Beale served as Rangers’ assistant coach between 2018-2021.

Balogun acknowledged that Beale was a significant component in his resolution to hitch QPR. Talking at his presentation, the 34-year-old mentioned:

Balogun joined Rangers in 2020 and revamped 60 appearances for the Scottish giants. He received one Scottish Premiership title and one Scottish Cup in his two years at Ibrox.

The middle-half has earlier expertise in England, having performed within the Premier League for Brighton and Hove Albion earlier than his brief stint with Wigan Athletic within the Championship in 2020.
