“It’s a game of two halves” – Ademola Lookman on Atalanta’s defeat

Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman has reacted to Atlanta disappointing 2-1 defeat at home to Bologna at the Gewiss Stadium on Sunday.
The Nigerian scored his first goal since returning from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) but it was not enough as Atalanta lost to Bologna.
He opened the scoring for the home side, but his first-half goal was canceled out by strikes from Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee and Lewis Ferguson.
Speaking after the game, the forward was keen to look forward after a disappointing home loss.
“The first half was very, very good. We had positives in our play and set the tempo,” the AFCON 2023 star said as quoted by Pulse Sports.
“In the second half, we didn’t really come out the same way we did in the first half. It was kind of a game of two halves. They capitalized on two moments and they scored.
“We’re a team, we fight together, we win lose together and we lose together. Disappointing but we get ready for the next game.”
