Joel Obi Declares Himself Fit for Udinese Clash

Nigerian midfielder Joel Obi has announced that he is fully fit for Torino’s upcoming Italian Serie A match against Udinese at the Stade Olimpico on Sunday. Obi sustained an injury during their last game against Sampdoria, which forced him to be substituted in the 37th minute. However, he has now recovered and is ready to take to the field once again.

“I took a strong blow and had to leave the game against Sampdoria. I’m disappointed that the referee did not intervene, as Bereszyński’s challenge was unfair and prevented me from continuing,” Obi expressed to Toronews.net. “But now I’m feeling much better. I rejoined the team this morning and I hope to be fully recovered for Sunday. I’m back training with the group, and I’m in good shape.”

Reflecting on the Sampdoria match, the former Inter Milan player praised his teammates for executing the coach’s instructions effectively. He urged them to continue giving their all on the pitch. “We played well against Sampdoria and followed the coach’s strategy. This gives us the confidence that we are a strong team capable of winning,” Obi added. “We believe in our strength, and if we continue to implement the coach’s tactics, we will achieve positive results. We need to keep pushing ourselves.”

Obi emphasized the importance of securing a victory against Udinese, as both teams are currently level on points in the standings. “The upcoming match against Udinese is crucial for us. We have the same number of points, and if we want to climb the table, we must aim for a win,” Joel Obi emphasized. “Udinese is in good form and plays attractive football. We need to be focused and cautious. It’s essential for us to strive for as many victories as possible, starting with this game against Udinese.”

With Obi’s return to full fitness, Torino will be boosted by his presence in midfield as they aim for a positive result against Udinese. The team is determined to continue their upward trajectory in the Serie A standings and will rely on their collective maturity and understanding of the coach’s instructions to achieve their goals.
