Nigerian midfielder, John Ogu, has advised the Nigerian Football Federation to contract Randy Waldrum for the Super Eagles team following his expliots with the Super Falcons at the Women’s World Cup.
Coach Waldrum has been applauded for his tremendous job done leading the Super Falcons to Round of 16 at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup where they painfully lost to England via shootouts on Monday.
The 66-year-old American had a face off with the federation in the build up to the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand as he blamed the NFF for not allowing him enough time to practice with his team to pick the best bunch.
However, the Maccabi Kabilio Jaffa star took to his social media page to praise Waldrum’s qualities just as urges the NFF to allow the coach work with the Super Eagles in the face of contract renewal tussle with José Peseiro.
The Israeli based man said the Super Falcons were more compact and well organized under Waldrum as he praised the tactically sound coach, and mentioned how proud he is of the team and their exploits at the global stage.
“Get this Man @CoachWaldrum to work with the Super Eagles @thenff, He sabi the job well, I haven’t see Super Falcons play like this in a long time . Tactically sound,” he said.
